Unearth the landscape of your dreams.
The foundation for the outdoor space of your dreams is there, all it takes is some uncovering. We’ll help guide you through our process, from the first meeting to the first day of the build.
Our Design Process
The first step in our process is to meet with you to understand what you hope for in an outdoor space. After that initial meeting, we’ll design blueprints that represent your vision.
1. Initial Contact & Inquiry
We talk with you about your project to determine if we would like to work together.
2. On-Site Consultation
A designer will meet with you to discuss the project in person, look over your property, discuss your budget and scope of work. This is also where we’ll take preliminary site photos, measurements, and grade readings as needed to begin the design. Clients are expected to provide information regarding property lines, site surveys, house plans, and any other information that could aid the design. This will help us be as efficient as possible.
3. Design
We’ll sign off on a design contract and then start work on the design. The payment for design work is also expected upon signing. After the design is finished, you’ll receive a scaled 2D preliminary design with an estimated budget for building projects based on the discussed scope and presented plan.
4. Revise & Finalize
We don’t start building until you’re totally satisfied with the design. If that means that we need to revise the preliminary design according to your comments, we gladly will. Once we’ve both aligned on the design, we’ll send you a final quote for the project. This is also where a construction deposit is due in order to schedule the project and order materials. Once we’ve received that payment, we move into the build phase.
Construction Expectations & Process
Once our design is confirmed and an estimate is approved along with the appropriate deposit, we can begin building the outdoor experience you’ve been dreaming about.
Our Operations Manager will arrange a pre-construction meeting (on-site or over the phone) with you to discuss logistics to complete the work as efficiently as possible. Any questions from this phase and beyond will be handled directly by our Operations Manager who will stay in contact with you throughout the construction process and keep you on track for progress payments.
When the work is complete we will do an onsite walkthrough to go over the project and all of the final details. From there, all you have to worry about is who you’ll be inviting over next.
